Philosophy
Mission: To provide all our athletes with first class professional treatment, an optimal training environment, and a dynamic program designed to elicit positive results in all aspects of Human Movement and Sports Performance. Having worked with thousands of athletes of different ages, skill levels, and sports, I have come to realize that athletes are more the same then different. There are those aforementioned differences, but the more you begin to watch and understand movement you will see many similarities. All athletes have 3 basic needs: In our quest to develop these 3 qualities, we must keep our eye on the prize: reduced risk of injury. Often times this phase of stability is skipped over and strength/ power development begins. The importance of this stability component should not be overlooked since it will provide the framework for all future work. Speed is a derivative of the synergistic balance between these 3 components. So if we fail to have balance between these 3 qualities, breakdown will soon follow. The philosophy is simple: Our training approach that focuses on total body movement, strength, and stability combined with education and lifestyle training will yield the balance we are looking for and in the end, an athlete with a great understanding of their body and what it takes to maintain optimal function.
